Tech’s top ranked and defending national championship team improved their record to 2-0 on the season with 7-0 sweep over No. 29 South Florida. The Bulls were 6-0 before heading to Atlanta to face off against the Jackets. The win increases the Jackets consecutive winning streak to 18 dating back to last season and their home winning streak to 22 dating back to the 2006 season. With the second consecutive sweep, the Jackets have now won every single point they have played this season.

Coming off a big road win against N.C. State last Wednesday, Tech took their two-game conference winning streak to John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA to take on Sean Singletary and the Cavaliers. They won, 92-82 in overtime.

The Tech Swimming and Diving team finished up their season against Emory and Vanderbilt last Saturday. The men competed against just Emory, doubling their score and cruising to a 182-91 victory. The women faced both Emory and Vanderbilt and won by even larger margins of victory, topping the Commodores 193-88. They defeated the Golden Eagles 167-78.
