Women's tennis finishes No. 1 in ACC

The women’s tennis team ended their regular season, sweeping both Boston College and Maryland at home to give Tech the top seed in the ACC championship. The women’s team had a 10-1 record in the ACC this season, with its only loss coming from Duke in mid-March.

Baseball loses three to No. 1 Miami at home

The Jackets took the field last weekend against No. 1 Miami. Unfortunately, the Jackets were unable to mount either an offense or defense and got swept in three games—twice on Saturday in a double-header and again on Sunday afternoon.

Softball beats FSU in two

The Jackets got their offense going in a series win against Florida State. The series featured home runs from senior Brittany Barnes, who picked up her eighth and ninth of the season.

Baseball rebounds against Georgia Southern

Senior Brad Feltes hit his third grand slam of the season as the Jackets pounded out 15 hits, 14 runs and took the win over in-state rival Georgia Southern in Statesboro on Wednesday, 14-8. Mid-week pitcher Deck McGuire moved to 6-0 with the win. McGuire pitched five innings and gave up three runs and two earned in the win. For the Eagles, Michael Hester (1-1) took the loss after giving up two runs in two innings.

Men's tennis falls in last matches

The men’s team struggled in the state of North Carolina this week as Tech dropped both of their ACC matches to North Carolina and Duke. The men’s team is ranked seed No. 9 going into the ACC championship and will play top-ranked Virginia if they defeat seed No. 8 NC State.
