Set in the stunning backdrop of the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation in Broward, Fla., the Langerado Music Festival will turn up the heat March 6-9. Headlining bands include the Beastie Boys, Athens natives R.E.M. and Phil Lesh from the Grateful Dead. There will also be a myriad of college favorites, including Perpetual Groove, 311, Sound Tribe from Sector 9 and Matisyahu, just to name a few of the more than forty bands performing this weekend. With crocodiles mingling in the auspicious South Florida Everglades, the Langerado Music Festival looks to be an intriguing setting to a musical melting pot of music. The Technique will be there covering every sound, so look for an article in the next issue.
